New Year’s Eve Celebration 2023 Dubai for ECA2
The Dubai skyline truly stands alone with its shining star, the Burj Khalifa, the planet’s only manmade structure to touch the heavens so boldly. On December 31st, this unique skyscraper welcomed in 2023 with stupendous panache, artistry, and monumental ambition.
To announce a bigger and brighter 2023, a thousand-Watt laser prototype was set up at the base of the tower. It’s the first of its kind in the entertainment world, visible from 65 km in the right conditions. In rethinking the laser and light show, ECA2 scaled up the performance not only vertically, but also horizontally, extending the effects to reach through downtown Dubai. Using the iconic Burj as a central supporting structure, new rigging brackets and fixtures were invented to carry the light projectors, the cables, with lasers greater in number and in power. And to make the tower stretch even taller than its record-breaking 828 meters, a multi-projector setup enabled the innovative spire of light.
LSE provided, installed and set up all the laser and light technology for this amazing display.
